10月13日，黄石新港11—13#泊位正式投产使用，标志着黄石新港二期工程全部建成投产运营二期工程共建设6个万吨级泊位，投产后的年装卸能力增加1000万吨，港口综合吞吐能力、港口辐射能力和综合服务水平将进一步提升

On October 13, the 11-13 # berths of Huangshi new port were officially put into operation, marking that the second phase of Huangshi new port project was completed and put into operation. A total of 6 10000 ton berths were built in the second phase of the project. After being put into operation, the annual handling capacity increased by 10million tons, and the port's comprehensive handling capacity, port radiation capacity and comprehensive service level will be further improved

黄石新港二期工程建设泊位为11—13#、21—23#，项目实际投资3.8亿元2020年7月17日，二期工程6个泊位顺利通过了交工验收，并作为黄石市首个由项目建设单位自行组织竣工验收的港口工程建设项目，荣获2019年度省级“平安工地”建设示范工地、2019年度黄石市人民政府促进全国产业转型级示范区建设“先进集体”等荣誉

目前，黄石新港共投产15个泊位，集散货、件杂、集装箱、危化品装卸和多式联运业务于一体的现代化综合性港口基本成型黄石二期的投产，将进一步助推黄石市建设“现代港口城市”，为盐田港实现长江战略再添新动力
