据悉，港区节能减排方面，盐田港码头岸基船舶供电系统（岸电）建设、使用情况已达行业领先水平，六套岸电系统可覆盖16个超大型深水泊位，覆盖率达80%；是国内第一个使用天然气拖车的码头，也是第一批大规模使用油改电、油改混的港区，目前已有60%的天然气（LNG）拖车和87%的纯电、13%混动龙门吊投入使用；在港区污水处理方面，盐田港区投入运营７座废水处理站，全面配备化学处理间、油水分离器等相关污水处理设施，对产生的清洗污水及各类生活污水进行深度处理，并经专业检测达标后才排放；在污染防控方面，港区完善溢油应急响应机制及监测体系，并配备了国际上最先进技术的溢油预警系统，实现远程、实时、全自动的综合监控，保障港区生态环境和海洋安全，并定期委托第三方监测机构，确保三废符合国家相关标准
